WASHINGTON – With votes still coming in from across the country, many voters are anxious for the results of the 2020 election.

Presidential candidate, Joe Biden has received 264 electoral votes while President Donald Trump has received 214 as the remaining states continue to count and report remaining ballots.

A path to victory for Trump means the president would need to win Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, states that would net him 268 electoral votes and would need to flip either Nevada or Arizona to win the presidency.

If Trump wins Nevada and Arizona, he would also need to win Pennsylvania and Georgia and would not need North Carolina.

Allegations of voter fraud from the Trump administration casts doubt on the integrity of the election process, alleging “This is a case when they are trying to steal the election, they are trying to rig an election,” said Trump speaking of Democrats.

Calls of voter fraud have escalated in key battleground areas as those states have continued to shut down for the night since election day.

Key battleground states have thousands of ballots remaining to be counted and GOP poll watchers have been barred from the counting room in Detroit according to https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-michigan-idUSKBN27K2AQ  and turned away in Philadelphia, however was later admitted.

Already thinking of victory in hand, the Biden campaign launched a transition website on Wednesday, telling reporters at a press conference in Wilmington Delaware, that it’s “clear that we’re winning enough states to reach 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.” Said Biden.

Protest have erupted around the country from both Trump supporters alleging corruption in counting the ballots in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina and Arizona and by protesters of the president decrying the contestation of the results of the election.
